With the new baby coming in March I have a whole list of things I want to get done around the house BEFORE even starting on the nursery. The master bedroom always seems to be the last place on peoples lists. In my last house it never even got done. Once the baby is here I know we really won't have time for it, so it kind of feels like now or never. I have gotten a few new pieces, (night stands, settee) that I have yet to show you, but the big ta-da about this space is going to be the paint. YES. I am going to add a little bit of color to the casa. To be honest I'm a bit worried I will be over it before it even dries, which is probably why I haven't done it yet.
I am leaning toward Blushing Bride by Dunn Edwards. I want something pink, but not baby pink. My only worry is that I will feel like it is too dark, as I'm used to very light and bright.
I'm totally inspired by all of these rooms that are painted only 2/3 of the way up the wall. There is just something visually interesting about it, and I like that it makes the ceilings look taller.
Am I crazy? Should I take the plunge?
