Europe Awaits

VIA

Oh Boy has it been a long time since I dusted off that passport of mine.  I am beyond excited to be going to Europe in less than a month for my 27th birthday! The plan is London, Paris and Ireland. I haven't been to Paris since I was about 20 and London and Ireland will be a first.  I know many of you guys have been abroad, so I need your help!  What are the places I need to go?  Fun cafes, the best shops, off the beaten path things to do?  I am all ears....

  1. gah! I'm so jealous!!! I haven't been to either of those cities/countries unfortunately, so I'm of no help there. but when I have gone to europe - I always try to never have any expectations and keep a 'local' mindset. lucky lucky girl you! xo

  2. Alright so I've been to London and Ireland, but unfortunately I was fifteen and don't remember any specifics on where we went (it was coordinated by school). But I loved both of them!! Actually, we stayed in this bizarre Bill Clinton-loving coastal golf resort town in Ireland. The shoreline was unbelievable and was my very first ocean!! Ahh the memories...I'm so excited for you!!

  7. I am soooo jealous of you! The last time I visited Paris I was 23! Eeeep! It was a while and my cousin who lives there led me around so I am no use for names and stuff, only Montmartre is a place I can recall. Fabulously bohemian and artsy. You'll be super inspired up there for sure. Plus it's where Moulin Rouge is located so if you want to see a show...

  8. OMG. I am so jealous I could spit. Spend some time in the country in England. Soooo beautiful. Not sure where you are planning in Ireland but I would have done my trip a little differently if I could do it again so I will share with you. MUST see the Cliffs of Moher! Stay in Doolin that night and go to the cliffs at sunset. Also, I wish I would have done at least part of the Ring of Kerry and I have heard the Dingle peninsula is the Ireland in your fantasies. But it is a lovely country and you will have fun wherever you go. In my opinion, Killarney was beautiful and Cork is a cool city but I would have rather tried some other places. I have also heard Cobh is a cool little town. Galway had a great atmosphere and would be a cool place to spend the night as well- big music scene.
