MOTHERS.day.GIFT.

Mother's Day is coming!  Do you have your gift yet?!  If not I got you covered for a no fail, affordable option. All moms like two things: 1.Flowers 2. Photos of their children.  Here's my spin on a classic, and the steps I use for a an easy diy flower arrangement:

Trader Joes has the best deal on flowers.  I like to stick to fluffy ones, I feel like they are easier to make look pretty.

My secret to pretty bunches.

Bunch the flowers together in your hands until you are happy with the way they look and secure with a band.
Trim ends of flowers to sit perfectly in vase.

This entire gift came in under $20. Get creative with vase ideas. I used vintage milk glass for one and a new mercury glass for the other, but really the options are endless.

How cute is the card I got from Treat?!  So many cute ideas on their website, have you checked them out?
Their mothers day card selection is great, and I sure wouldn't mind receiving one of these babies for my birthday next week...hint hint ;)

  7. Love what you created! We always opt for flowers, but we have to have them delivered as we live out of state these days. Oh, and last year we used wedding photos to make pinhole press notebooks! That was a winner. xo
