FLOWERS.

My name is Kristen and I a have a problem.
Lola is right, I am spending all our money on too many flowers for our garden.  I don't know what has come over me this spring.  I literally can not walk a way from a pretty plant.  My yard does not need one more.  I literally have 8 hydrangea bushes. 8. And you know what's crazy?  I saw a bunch at Lowes yesterday, that were a color I didn't have yet, and I had to fight myself not to buy some more. It's getting out of control.
Iceberg Roses

Hydrangeas

Can not wait for all these babies to bloom.
Perfection
This climbing rose vine was $2.50 at Walmart.  It literally was only two little twigs that I thought were dead. Can't wait for her to take over my porch.

azaleas

New blooms make me so happy.

  6. I love flowers too! But my green thumb has been deadly these last few years. I adore hydrangeas and can't wait to see my hydrangea bush bloom - it was planted by the previous owner so I have no clue what colour the flowers will be :)

  7. ahahaha Kristen, I am right there with you with your obsession! I, too, am obsessed with flowers! I have always redone the yards of the rentals that I lived in knowing full-well that it was a sunk money cost. Whatevs- it made me happy every day to look at my flowers!

  13. This is what happens when you buy a house. All of those days and nights you used to spend at nice restaurants and fancy bars turns into days at the garden center and Friday night trips to Home Depot. It's still so much fun isn't it? Love these flowery vignettes you shared. Looks magical!
