EASY.entertaining.

I love to entertain. What do I not love?  Spending HOURS in the kitchen.  How do I pull off such fabulous soirees you ask? ;) I pick and chose where I want to spend my time. A lot of the time the presentation is what really makes the biggest impact.  What was my secret for my Hearts.love video?

These babies:

Having a consistent theme (hearts) made the overall presentation seem like I spent a ton of time preparing.  Truth be told most of the meal was premade. Trader Joes sells great mini grilled cheese sandwiches and I'm obsessed with regular frosted sugar cookies from Albertsons. Use some cookie cutters to up the cute factor-- Wham Bam thank you Ma'am.

What did I make?

The salad ( EASY PEASY)

Ingredients
Romaine Lettuce
Red Onion
Candied Walnuts
Strawberries (Heart Shaped)
Brianna's Poppyseed dressing

VIA
(Your strawberry salad is nothing without this)

I also mixed in some cucumber sandwiches.
Ingredients:
Bread of your choice
Cream Cheese
Sliced cucumber
lemon pepper

OMG YUM

  1. easy peasy is right up my alley! everything looked so great and love that you partially used premade items mixed in with some homemade. such a timesaver and everything looked awesome! my fave party food (for a casual get-together) are dips - usually so quick and easy (and yum!)

  2. I'm glad I live far away so no one ever wants to drive here to visit. I'd rather someone else host me and make something as awesome as you did :)

  3. So cute! That salad is adorable of course because of the heart shaped bread! I also have a fab. salad with strawberries but uses baby spinach. I'm glad to have this recipe as well. Your friends are lucky to be invited to your beautiful parties. And that video was just SO good! I'm so happy for you.

  4. One of my fave parts was the heart shaped sandwiches for sure! I'v never attempted doing a cutout sandwich- I will need to try this for sure! My go to for guests is definitely my artichoke/kale dip covered in parmesan cheese... its always a crowd pleaser and SO easy to make!
