I follow West Elm on facebook just because they always spolight amazing homes. This one on the outskirts of Rome took my breath away. When can I move in?
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was super busy with a bridal shower, out of town guests, and packing for our move this week. For those that are interested, here is a peek at how all the DIY decorations turned out. What did I do before pinterest?!?
I'd love to start doing some DIY tutorials on here so if you see anything you'd like to know how to make, let me know. Tissue flowers? Easy flower arrangements? Dying fabric? Mimosa Bar? Garlands?
DIY hand dyed garlands.
handmade tissue flowers, hand dyed fabric, paper lanterns.
Fruit skewers were a hit.
I made all the flower arrangements with flowers from Costco.
The mimosa bar was so fun. Def something I'll do again at another party.

I love getting a peek inside different celebrities homes. I feel like you can tell so much about a person by their abode. Browsing the web last night I came across Reese Witherspoon's AMAZING home in Ojai. So much to drool over.
Such a romantic place for dinner parties.
I could just lounge here all day.
LOVE white walls with cover pops throughout.
Great boys room.
Is that fireplace not amazing?? Those beams! That juliet Balcony!

If you follow me on instagram then you have probably been blown up with photos of all the DIY decorations I have been working on for my sister in laws bridal shower this weekend. I'm doing a diy ombre aqua theme. Here's a little sneak peek of some of the details. Check back on Monday to see the final outcome.

So if you follow me on instagram you would have seen this awesome bar trunk that I saw at Cost Plus yesterday. I love it, super cool and love that you can just close it up after guests leave. So after a moment of trying to figure out how I was going to find an extra $650 and how it would fit in my mini cooper I remembered---DUH, what about my bar cart??
I always wanted a bar cart. So sophisticated and adult. My last two places just did not have a spot for one so I put the idea on the back burner. BUT NOW......my new place has to have one.
Only pink alcohol on my cart. Lol pretty, but not so practical. (GlitterGuide.com)
Rustic, dark and masculine. (becauseimaddicted.net)
So pretty. (chinoiseriechic.blogspot.com)
Maybe go a little industrial? (cupcakesandcashmere.com)
San Pellegrino Aranciata is a staple, only because the packaging is so cute. (ivy&piper.com.au)
Vintage bamboo cart is classic.(thelifestyledblog.com)
What do you think? Do you like the trunk or a bar cart? What style suits you best?
