SOIREE.diy.ROUNDUP.

Another week, another day, another dollar. You know how it goes people, it's Monday! Hope everyone had a swell weekend.  I spent some time with friends, cuddled with Lola, and finally got around to putting up some Christmas lights outside.  Better late than never right?

We decided on having an intimate Holiday Housewarming Soiree with our close friends from school.  As time goes by, and we all get older,  it's really hard to get everyone in one place. (Unless we are at someones wedding). This seems like the perfect opportunity to bring everyone together and celebrate the season and friendships. (Sorry Mom, this parties for the kids)

With that being said I'm now in full blown decoration mode! These are most of the diy's I plan on tackling this week:

How cute is the pom pom garland?!?  I'm kind of pompom obsessed.

AHHHH! I found a DIY Pinata!!  Dare I try?!

Now that I know how to etch glass and I have a crap ton of materials I think I may give something like this a try!

I think this ridiculously cool star looks pretty simple, and can be done on the cheap.  Making one to hang outside from the second story and I kind of feel like my mantle may need one as well.

Here's where I need your help!  I'm planning on making a huge piece of wall art to display above the food and drink area. I want to make a sign that has nothing to do with the holidays so I can pull it out anytime we have a party. These are the two sayings I am deciding between.

Which do you like better? Also, I'm on the hunt for a really good White Holiday Sangria.  I've never made my own before, any suggestions??
