OUR.1st.HOME.downstairs

So for those of you who are interested, here is a peek at the interior downstairs of our place. So much has already changed and I can't wait to show you the after.  Give me about a week.

Front door.  No entry, opens to...
Our formal.  That hideous thing is the the first thing you see  when you open the door.
Um yea, that has already happened.
Directly to the left of the front door is this quaint dining room.  Can't wait to get my Darcy chairs and dining table in here. Directly through that doorway on the left is...

Our kitchen.  It's small but works, and by the way already looks completely different.  It's amazing what a little paint on the cabinets can do!

Kitchen looks out to our cozy family room. Thats where my new slipcovered white sectional will be.

Ta Da!  There it is.  Small but perfect for the two of us.  So lucky to have hardwood floors already through out the house.  We would have never been able to afford them!  Check back next week to see all the changes, it seriously looks so different with just a little paint, (ok a whole lot of) paint.

  3. Gorgeous home! The color in the dining room looks dark, maybe it's just the picture? Are you planning on painting any walls? Love it! xox

    1. The entire house feels like a dark hole. EVERYTHING top to bottom has been painted white though :) I'll post those pictures later in the week.
