New Chanel Aviators

May 2012 will go down in the books as one of the most hectic months of my life.  It's finally safe to say I survived. Barely. Here's a peek at my month in pictures.

Yea that's me...
All my hard work up on the big screen!
Peony season makes me so happy.
Same peonies two days later.
My graduation
CSUN Cinema and Television Arts
My mini made some friends.  Mine is far left.
Lots of other people's graduations

Really thinking about getting a monogrammed duffel lately.

One day I was on pinterest and I fell in love with this picture.
I loved everything about it.
I loved the colors.
I loved the mood.
I loved the clothing
I loved the composition.

She woke up one morning on another planet far away past the moon

I looked for the source, and it was shot by Max Wanger.  I should have known!

Gone in a flash of pastel

....til her heels turned moon-dust silver.

As many of you know I turned 25 on the 12th. While I was dreading the thought of being smack dab in the middle of my 20's, my husband did an amazing job of making it the best day ever!
Lola even remembered!
Surprise delivery while I was getting ready for my party.
Wallet that fits perfectly in my Chanel mini :)
Bobby threw me a party at Mesa with 25 of my closest friends!  I love Mesa for a night out with a group of people.  While I'd skip dinner because the food isn't great, the atmosphere is worth a couple high priced drinks.

Cake made by my bff at Mas Cakes!
Even my cake is on trend.  Ombre pink!
Love my urban outfitters disposable camera with fun film!

Dare to Fail

I have always loved the work of Lisa Mann Dirkes.  Having just celebrated my 25th birthday, and with graduation on the horizon this painting in particular has spoken to me now more than ever. I am at a crossroads in life, where decisions need to be able about my future, and where I am going to go from here.  To be honest I have no idea what is next for me. This is just a beautiful reminder that wherever I go and whatever I do, life is short and sometimes you have to take chances.

"Oh, we have a home,we just need a house to put in."

Lisa was a dear friend of my Mother, and unfortunately lost her battle with breast cancer this year.  I gave the painting above to my mom this year for mothers day. She absolutely loved it.

Check out her online store here, where you can buy beautiful reproductions of Lisa's work.  A portion of the proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
