Magnolia Bakery

Last time I was in NYC I had my first Magnolia Cupcake. My life was never the same. From then on, every cupcake I ate, was compared to Magnolia.......Few came close.

You can imagine how happy I was to see that they opened a location here in Los Angeles :)

This little white box seriously made my day :)

Happiness in a box :)

Bike Shop

Urban Outfitters makes a pretty sweet ride.....

Since becoming "Urbanites" in good old Irvine, Bobby and I have a whole new appreciation for bicycles.

Urban Outfitters has teamed up with Republic Bike to make custom bicycles. Every thing from the frame, to the handles, to the chain, all come in different colors. With that many chioces you can ride in style, with a bike unlike any other on the road. Go to Urbanoutfitters.com to build your dream ride.

There is just something about those red soles no girl can resist.........

Barbie loves them.......

JLo wrote a song about them.......

I have to have them.

Pink Glitter makes my life.

It's love.....

My slightly embarrassing guilty pleasure....

OMG its coming......

Food Truck Craze

With the growing trend of gourmet on wheels, the stereotypical "Roach Coach" is a thing of the past. While the food truck craze has been going strong for about a year in LA, many are venturing there way to Orange County.

The use of twitter, facebook, blogs, and other social networks have made it possible for these small business' on wheels to blow up. Gourmet Catering trucks, suck as Kogi, Crepes Bonaparte, and Louks use these outlets to let their followers know where they will be set up. One day might be a college campus, the next a business center in Irvine. These trucks have became very popular amongst the younger crowd. Part of the appeal is knowing about something that not everybody else knows about.

August 28th will be the OC's first Foodie Fest. It will be an event with around 50 gourmet food trucks for local foodies to try. Tickets are only $12. Go to experience the Food Truck Craze in full force and see what all these Los Angelinos are talking about. I'll be there getting my grub on.

These trucks serve everything from healthy organic, to Crepes, to cupcakes. Log onto Twitter to find out which food trucks will be in your area today. You never know, you just might see a Bravo Bus pull up in your town ;)

The Parker Palm Springs

We believe that your home should make you happy.

We believe that when it comes to decorating, the wife is always right.
Unless the husband is gay.

We believe in carbohydrates and to hell with the puffy consequences.

We believe tassels are the earrings of the home.

We believe in being underdressed or overdressed always.

We believe dogs should be allowed in stores and restaurants.

We believe our lamps will make you look younger and thinner.

We believe in irreverent luxury.

-Johnathan Adler's Manisfesto

During my quest to merge Shabby Chic with modern, I have fallen in love with Johnathan Adler. Bobby and I are going to celebrate our one year anniversary at The Parker Resort in Palm Springs. The Parker was designed by Johnathan Adler himself.

I'm going for the croquet, hammocks, and Spa :)

Peace Love & Lola at Unique OC

Peace, Love & Lola will be at Unique OC! Check out my booth on Saturday August 14th at The Box, 765 Saint Clair Street in Costa Mesa.

Everyone knows that I am obsessed with Shabby Chic. While my entire house is Shabbied out, I have been looking for ways to add a bit of a modern twist to my decor. Being that my appliances and hardware are modern I am looking to fuse the two together.

Searching the web I have stumbled across CB2. If you haven't checked it out, you must! It is owned by Crate and Barrel, but has an edgier modern twist. I haven't been to the store in person yet, but seeing as they just opened a new one in Santa Monica, I definitely will make a trip.

I am madly in love with their Peekaboo collection! I feel like it is just modern enough, yet could blend with all my shabby decor without looking out of place.

My first purchase will be the coffee table. It's small enough for my apartment and priced great at $250.

I love the idea of displaying items underneath the table.

Using the C table and the Console you can set up a really cool bar. If later on you get bored of that, you can easily use the Console as a desk and the C table as a side table. Multi-use= great investment.

Love the look? Short on funds or space? Try these shelves to add a little character to your walls.
